WATER MONITORING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Water Monitoring Training Sessions Begin

The North Fork Watershed Project is looking for volunteers to collect water samples from Tucker County streams and participate in a learning program about basic stream characteristics. People of all ages are encouraged to participate.

Volunteers are needed to participate in in-stream monitoring once monthly and sample collection quarterly.

The work requires nothing more than an interest in improving the watershed and a desire to be outside and in the streams. Water-proof waders are available for participants.

Volunteers with knowledge of ArcView, GPS, graphic design, or a strong interest in computers are also needed to help compile water data samples into graphs and reports.
